Hi Cat,
I had a list put together in an e-mail with ranges but deleted it, (darn) so here's a list of tests to ask about without ranges.
Vitamin D- storage form 25(OH)D also known as 25-hydroxy vitamin D
PTH (a high Parathyroid level will indicate low calcium absorption or intake or a problem with calcium & vitamin D regulation) ask for intact PTH
Calcium (should be normal, normal low could mean low calcium intake)
Thyroid levels of T3 and T4
B 12
Folate
iron (ferritin) storage form better indicator of status
insulin
glucose tolerance
estrogen- needs to be done on cycle day 3 due to the fact it fluctuates so much
progesterone
Lipid panel
Total cholesterol
LDL
HDL
triglycerides
I also like to see liver function tests and enzymes
Optional tests, many fertility specialist do these to see if you're ovulating
FSH
LH
I hope you're able to get these done. I would ask especially to have vitamin D, PTH, calcium, iron, and thyroid if you need a top 5 list.
