I got an interesting e-mail question:

Debra,

I saw a margarine (can't remember the brand) listing 0 trans-fat on the front of the package and then lists partially hydrogentated oil on the ingredient list, aren't hyrdogenated oils considered a trans-fat?

Thanks,

Jan

According to FDA regulations, food manufactures can say their product is "trans-fat free" if the product has less than 0.5 grams per serving.
