I forget about the Center for Science for the Public interest, they are the REAL FOOD POLICE.... For those of you looking to become pregnant or are working on it, the new recommendations on Caffeine are now less than 200mg/day.

Here's a new chart of how much caffeine is in that favorite Starbucks drink and bev's:

http://www.cspinet.org/new/cafchart.htm

See the whole list at the link above

And my favorite link to their Chemical Cuisine...food additives, and banned food additives. http://www.cspinet.org/reports/chemcuisine.htm#caffeine

Debra,

That is a great list of beverages. I drink about 2 cups of coffee a day, but when we go out I drink hot tea and iced tea. So I'm guessing on a daily basis I average about 300mg a day. :(

I remember when I cut my caffeine a few years ago I went to Pepsi because I remember it had less caffeine than coke, mountain dew, and coffee.  Since I've been on the cycle diet (second cycle now) I've just cut it out completely.  Oh, I did have one soda this week, during my best week.

Hi Beloved1,

Excellent....keep up the good work! Are taking a little extra vitamin D too? This has been one of the longest winters I can remember.
