Leave it to the [b:b799a1aada][i:b799a1aada]Center for Science in the Public Interest [/i:b799a1aada][/b:b799a1aada]to have a very good list of food additives available on their website. Included you will find out if many have caused a reaction, or if it's considered OK.

I love these guys, if you ever want to know about the latest food products, they are the real live food police.

Food scientists and food developers cringe if they review a new product and it gets a thumbs down. I subscribe to their monthly newsletter and will pass on pertinent information.

here's the link:

www.cspinet.org/reports/chemcuisine.htm

Peruse through their sight, it's great.

Deb, I'm running as fast as I can to hide my head under my pillow! I just thumbed through the link................I can't read that stuff or I'll never eat anything. I'm having a hard time eating now as it is, trying to be more health concious..............it's hard...........who's idea was it to put all this stuff in our food anyways?

:D
Food manufactures are always looking for ways to make their products either taste better, last longer, or look more attractive.

Most of these additives are considered safe, but I've found some women who suffer from PMS may have a sensitivity to them while their immune system is suppressed.

Don't worry about the items with the question mark, the CSIP have done the research on whether or not they've had many problems.
