Does anyone have an opinion on black strap molasses?

In addition to following the cycle diet with added supplements of Calcium and D3 and multi-vitamin, flaxseed meal and fish oil, I have started taking two tablespoons a day of molasses.
It could be the result of almost two cycles of the cycle diet, but I feel very good these last few days since taking the molasses. Better than I have felt for quite some time.

Dawn,

I say if it's working for you stick with it. Black strap molasses is high in sugar but also contains some nutritional value.

Here's the nutritional composition:

47 kcals per Tablespoon
-12.2g carb
-10.4g sugar
[b:683bdc84b9]-174 calcium (wow this is great)
-3.5 mg Iron (this is also great)
-43mg magnesium[/b:683bdc84b9]
-8mg Phosphorus
-498.4 mg Potassium
-[b:683bdc84b9]3.56 mcg selenium[/b:683bdc84b9]
-11mg sodium (this is nothing)
-.2 mg Zinc

Double this for 2 tablespoons, so at 20gs of sugar no wonder you're getting a lift. It's similar to drinking a regular soda, but with the benefits of some great nutrients.
