Are there any commercial salad dressings that are acceptable on the regular cycle diet? Also, if anyone could recommend good salad dressing recipes, that would be great! Thanks!

Yes, I like Organicville and Annie's organic dressings, but be sure and stay with the organic dressings not the natural.

Here's a simple Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing from http://www.sensitivedietitian.com My new recipe blog: http://sensitivedietitian.com/?p=112 scroll down toward the bottom

Thanks for asking

There are a couple more recipes inside the workbook and here on the recipe forum: www.cyclediet.com/forums/view_forum.php?id=31

Balsamic Vinaigrette

1/3 cup minced onion
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil (reduce the calories by reducing oil to 1/3 cup and increasing vinegar to 1 cup)
1 Tbs. honey
2 Tbs. stone-ground mustard

Just mix the ingredients in a bowl. Each recipe makes 1 1/2 cups. Store in favorite shaker and refrigerate. Shake well before you use. Good for about a week and a half, remember it doesn't contain preservatives. :D

*add your favorite fresh or dried herbs like rosemary or parsley.

Thank you Debra! I was actually checking out the Annie's Organic dressings in the store the other day. And thanks so much for the recipe and links. They look great!
