Do you have a good protein powder you can recommend?  gluten free and soy free?  I know it would have to be whey-based, but do some of them contain less lactose and other milk proteins?  It would also obviously have to taste good :P

I need something for an occasional breakfast, quick meal, snack, etc.

Most that I've found have soy protein, sucralose, etc. etc.

You might want to take a look at Hemp protein powder. I found mine at Trader Joe's. I like to add it to smoothies if I'm going vegetarian for the day. I also like rice protein as well. The hemp also has a nice fatty acid profile.

I'll see if Trader Joe's has info on line.

Well, TJ's didn't have product info, but I do believe it's vegan, GF, DF, but not sugar free:

Here's nutri info I found on line on another website.

You can also find it at Whole Foods.

Hi Louis,

I don't really recommend whey protein because it's usually made from leftover cow's milk from yogurt making. I have many clients who are dairy protein sensitive. If you can tolerate it without any digestive problems, great. If you are having digestive problems, it may be a problem. Dairy protein is in many cases inflammatory.
