It's along way to the top if you want to Rock n Roll [gotta love AC/DC]

:D:D:D You are too funny.

:)

Really, if you think about it, there's some truth in that song that can be connect to just about any profession. For those that may no be familiar with the song, it's about the trials and tribulations of playing in a rock and roll band. It's about paying your dues, taking your lumps. Putting in the time and the hard work to be come successful.

Ridin' down the highway
Goin' to a show
Stop in all the by-ways
Playin' rock 'n' roll
Gettin' robbed
Gettin' stoned
Gettin' beat up
Broken boned
Gettin' had
Gettin' took
I tell you folks
It's harder than it looks

It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you think it's easy doin' one night stands
Try playin' in a rock roll band
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll

Hotel, motel
Make you wanna cry
Lady do the hard sell
Know the reason why
Gettin' old
Gettin' grey
Gettin' ripped off
Under-paid
Gettin' sold
Second hand
That's how it goes
Playin' in a band

It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you wanna be a star of stage and screen
Look out it's rough and mean
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll

If you haven't heard the song, please check it out . It's a great song. One of the only rock songs to include bag pipes. FYI - Bag pipes are not tunable, so they had to tune their guitars to the pipe.

In order to keep with the AC/DC theme...and those that do bust their butts... For Those About to Rock - We Salute You!

Well now, I think this has to be a first... combining gluten sensitivity, AC/DC, certification...all on a website dedicated to female issues. I think I deserve the 800.00!!! Now that's entertainment!!

Thank you - you've been a great audience - good night...

:)

You'd be happy to know...I'm giving another "Beneath the Celiac Iceberg/Gluten Sensitivity" talk to a group of Western Iowa Dietitians on Feb 6th. at Green county Hospital in Jefferson. They are a small group of dietitians who meet once a month or so. They've invited nurses, physicians and pharmacists to attend. I hope we have good weather because it's about an hour and a half from Des Moines.

So you see Al, I'm trying to spread the word to whoever will listen, and I don't have a fake degree. :D

Thanks!!!

I'm sure if you wanted to attend they'd let you. Much of it is tailored to dietitians and medical personnel but really anyone interested I'm sure would be welcome. They're charging $10.00.
